Family pictures for dossier
10.25.2009
I’m patiently waiting for our finished home study to be completed and then approved by AGCI. We’ve got every last item in our dossier completed…but one thing we lacked until today was family pictures. I’ve been SO busy with portrait sessions and not a moment to schedule our own…so today after church and naps…I got out the camera and decided to use the self-timer! Self timer pictures is one thing I had yet to do with the family…and I have to say it was so much fun…such a sweet memory of us all laughing at mommy running back and forth!!! Here are a few from our rigged up tri-pod…too funny of the fam…everyone looks happy in this one except Laney–I think she is confused what we are doing running back and forth here…

And baby Frank doesn’t know why I’m laughing so hard! I barely made it back in my seat in time for this one!
Okay…we are obviously having more fun doing pictures this way…
Frank looks so confused here! “Why are they yelling for us to look at the camera with no one back there?!”
Ok…maybe this isn’t working so well…still—a GREAT family memory!
We needed an image of Richard and I together…so I got my 5 year old son to man the camera…
And another by Parker of mommy and daddy…
Parker was having so much fun that he wanted to get me and Laney-bug too…
And one of my little man to end on…
Frank is going to be one sweet big brother! I could just gobble this kid right up!
I’ve sent all of these to a 1 hour pickup and now we’re just waiting for our homestudy to be reviewed and approved!!! Once that is done…our dossier and check can be shipped asap! YAY!
I can’t WAIT to have a number…very, very, very SOON!

Found you from another Ethiopian adoption blog. We are also about ready to turn in our dossier to AGCI. Looking forward to connecting more.

Can't wait to see a number on your page soon!!!
I'm dying right along side you 🙂
I love the last picture of Frank!
It will be really cool if we end up next to each other on the list! I think we will end up very very close to each other! If you're right in front of me then I will know when we're number one and that would be really nice 🙂 I think we're going to be going through this entire agonizing process together and hopefully we will get to celebrate together in Addis Ababa if we get in the same travel group!
Great pictures!!! What a very cute family. We are waiting for our change of country form and then we can send our dossier in to Adoption ARK. It's driving me crazy because teh dossier is all ready to go out but we need that one paper!! We were with Russia for a year and all of our paperwork expired and now we are happy to be adopting 2 kiddos from Ethiopia!! Here is our blog: http://www.hernkekid.blogspot.com
Keep the posts coming…I love reading them.
God Bless,

What a beautiful photo of you and your daughter. Your son apparently inherited the photographer gene. You are so close to The List!
Wow I love your blog! You are amazing to me- all that you do and I can feel God's energy in all you say on your blog. I know you reached out to me some time ago about photography and I wanted to thank you for that. Your photos are so gorgeous and I cannot wait to see who God has in store for your family. Very soon you will be "ON THE LIST." It is a great feeling as we have only been on the list for a couple of months and our numbers keeping dropping. We cannot wait to know her. Take good care and God bless! Melanie
