This is amazing! My girlfriend and I wish SO much that we could come with our little ones, but I’ll be getting my Ethiopian beauties in the next few months so it’s not doable this year. HOWEVER, my girlfriend and I have already talked about hosting it in gorgeous SoCal next year, if this one is a hit. We have great connections and who wouldn’t want to come to SoCal in the middle of winter!?!?

If you’re interested in this, let’s talk. We have a great adoption network out here – and growing weekly! – especially Ethiopian adoptions. ๐Ÿ™‚

What type of bird is it? You can typically tells by the way it is colored. Males are typically the pretty ones:) That’s my two bits on birds:)

SO…spread the news—share the excitement…adoption mommies are getting together for a weekend in February to be inspired, to be encouraged and to relax and be restored…TOGETHER! So I have been reading your blog for months, and one of my other blog friends posted something about the retreat. So I very joking sent a link about it to my sister-in-law saying “In my dream world we would get to go to this retreat together.. would it be wonderful?”. So her and my mother-in-law actually got online and registered us for the retreat…surprise! I cried and was blown away, because I was totally joking! This is a huuuuuge blessing for me, so thanks for all you are doing for the retreat. I am waiting for our baby from Ethiopia and now I get to go on this retreat with the women in my family.. I have never felt so loved in excited, I really needed this blessing this week! THANK YOU THANK YOU! -Kerry

Too cute!! And where did you get Laney’s boots? My Callie Grace would love those!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Staci - October 11, 2010 - 4:28 pm

I’m impressed that you are happily loving fall. In spite of the fall wreath on the door, cider in the fridge, and a trip to the pumpkin patch, I still can’t get over the temp in the uppers 80s. Geez… I hope the real fall gets here and stays here very soon! In the meantime, Happy Fall Y’all! ๐Ÿ™‚

Amber - October 11, 2010 - 9:24 pm

Cute pics! Ella Beth has some boots that she is dying to wear. Laney looks super cute in hers. ๐Ÿ™‚
