Drawn from Water…

{PLEASE TURN OFF MUSIC ABOVE BEFORE WATCHING VIDEO} Just wanted to share another sweet African ministry with you. THIS IS REAL. THIS is happening today. What if I made my spring break and summer planning more about things like this than anything else? What if we spent our lives fighting for the children who no […]

OMG! I love that ministry! I just shared it last week again with someone. And I shared it with my pastor’s wife on Monday at revival! She just couldn’t believe that such things still happen in our world. That’s where we come in! Making sure as many people know that we can tell! Someone called me ‘weird’ just last week. I’m okay with that. God made me ‘weird’ with a purpose and a plan! Following Him wherever He may lead me! Much love to you girlfriend! From one crazy woman to another! ♥

you are the best kind of crazy…crazy in love with god and his glory. love the drawn from water ministry.

Lara - March 25, 2010 - 3:43 pm

Thank you for posting that! I have people think I’m crazy much of the time, but that’s okay. I think sometimes people feel uncomfortable when reminded of the world outside of our country.

What a really great post! You sure are sharing the heart of GOD here :))

New Wiphan T’s & Scripture Reading {Deuteronomy 29, 30, 31}

I’m on a serious “dress for a cause” kick. I bought a really cute t-shirt last summer from the Gap that said “Change the World with what you wear”. It was a purple t—but one of their product red shirts. It really had me thinking… What if we lived in a way to change the […]

I love the idea of dressing for a cause. How about instead of perpetuating worldwide poverty by lining the pockets of sweatshop-using companies, we do the opposite and buy clothing that helps eradicate poverty? This was inspirational, I think I will try to get some more clothing where I know my money is truly helping people.

LOVE the shirts! just ordered ours 🙂

Renea - March 20, 2010 - 10:48 pm

Can’t wait to build my wardrobe with a WIPHAN shirt. 🙂 I try to wear all my adoption shirts, Africa shirts, water shirts, etc. etc. etc. everyday! 🙂 When my life keeps me so busy that I can’t stop and tell everyone with my mouth the need for service of our brothers and sisters in Christ, my shirt can! ♥

Renea - March 20, 2010 - 10:49 pm

P.S. Congratulations Kristi!!! That was a total no-brainer! LOL 🙂 She’s the advocacy queen!

Today’s Reading: Deuteronomy 26-29:1

Confession. Some times I don’t see it right. Deuteronomy is right on. And some times I just don’t interpret what the Lord says as the Lord says it. Maybe it’s not even interpretting it wrong…but my sinful flesh wants to hear it differently. Confession. Some times I fall into the sin of thinking my serving […]

You’ve just written a post that’s been stirring around in my head all week; however, you said it much more eloquently than I could have. You are such a gifted writer. Love your blog and your heart!

Renea - March 20, 2010 - 12:43 am

You know I love your ♥ and this post actually mimics what I have been battling with all day long….. it’s been a crazy CRAZY day and as much as I want to think I am ‘doing the extra’ I fail miserably at doing enough. It’s like scratching the surface of what my God expects. Demands. Oh how I want to overflow!

Toby’s Adventure to Africa…

Remember Toby? If not—I first shared about him here. And we unveiled where that little stinker stuck off to here. Yep, give our family a class pet to take care and see what we do?! We send him into the mission field;). I so think of Zambia though as our other home…where part of our […]

Your mommy snacks are amazing!!!! You must be ‘the cool mom’ to all the kids around. Love Toby’s video and the story of the boys at WIPHAN brought tears to my eyes…. yet again. I can see and hear these boys in my heart. Sponsoring a child seems like so little that can be done. I’m spreading the word about the blanket ministry (Addie sent me some goodies) and I’m off to buy a blanket!!! Much love to you! Hope your ‘accident’ is healed quickly. We’ll be praying for healing. ♥
