Oh my goodness, the cuteness!!

missy - March 25, 2011 - 3:09 am

what’s going on in ethiopia is being kept on the down low, so it’s so good you are getting the word out!!!!

LOVE THIS- PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! He just makes my heart smile ๐Ÿ™‚

Leah - March 29, 2011 - 9:04 am

Such cute pictures of your boy. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m always hesitant to believe what FOX news reports as they always seem to have a larger agenda. When I was in Ethiopia, I was so impressed by how people of different religions lived side by side eachother, in peace. Unfortunately, I have seen persecutions on every religion, from every religion, and it’s always sad that we can’t practice whatever religion we choose in peace.

The perfect Sunday…AND Frank…

I know I’m not the only one that feels this way–I JUST LOVE MY MOMMY JOB! We have just had THE best Sunday together…saw Nana and Papa back off to Alabama (WAA!) before church…headed to church and Isaac went to Sunday School with Frank and made it the ENTIRE TIME without them needing to page […]

Love that song. Also loving Natalie Grant’s “Your Great Name.” We sang it in church yesterday and among other lyrics, “the fatherless, they found their rest at the sound of Your great name” got me. HE will care for them. What an amazing God we have.

African Family Fellowship night!!!

SOO…tonight was African Family Fellowship night at our house! We TRY our best to get together once a month when we can. AND although it is crazy for everyone to come probably–I will speak for the crew and say we really think it’s worth it! While we were in the adoption process–we looked at other […]

Oh my stinkin’ goodness – Mr. Silas is SUPER cute!

Kim - March 20, 2011 - 2:18 am

WOW! That is one BIG group! What a HUGE blessing to have so many like-minded families right in your area!

Kim - March 20, 2011 - 5:10 am

What a blessing to see how God grew this community after His own heart!

Sandi - March 20, 2011 - 3:11 pm

This just fills my sometimes depleted heart up! It is times like today when God brings yet another family into our lives who is in such desperate need that I just want to cry. The need sometimes seems so great & I wonder why, God, why? Then I read your blog (& His Word). Then the Ah-ha moment! Then I remember that with GOD all things truly ARE possible & no need is too great for HIM! These stories & seeing God work in so many lives to glorify him make it all worth it. He uses weakness for his glory. Love, love, love to see the amazing ways God brings people together to show that he really can move mountains! I soo needed this today!!!

That is wonderful. We prayed for all of the families last night. I can’t wait to join in at the next one. And, Silas is such a hoot. So adorable. ๐Ÿ™‚

Going Green (Get your St.Paddy’s on…)

It’s time for some SPRING cleaning…so I asked my Facebook friends for organization tips…which led me to the book store buying the book Organized Simplicity. I’m following her guide to de-cluttering, and I’m starting with the family room. Really–you do NOT want to hear details or see pictures! It’s a mess:). SOOO…I thought I’d help […]

hahahah… that is hilarious about the Wasabi peas! ๐Ÿ™‚ Love your tips. I looked everywhere for gold coins last year that the kids could wake up to that the “leprachauns left”… and I was way too late! So this year I’m on the ball with those, but had not thought of the jello! ๐Ÿ™‚ And YES, we want to see before and after shots of your house so you can help the rest of us with kiddie stuff everywhere to get organized! I am so glad you posted that question on FB because now I’m getting her blog updates and have her book on my Amazon list to buy later. Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚

Sooo…when I married Richard–I not […]
