Back in January, we asked many of you to please pray for us that our FDL (Favorable Determination Letter) would arrive from Immigration USCIS after sending in our 161-A form. 3 months later—we are still waiting. Richard went to the USCIS local office (about 30 minutes away) this week—and got the answer that it has not been processed, but they would try to get to it next week. We cannot receive a referral WITHOUT this form. We are waiting and trusting—and I know the Lord knows how we like things to be exciting;-)…soooo as I fully expect the form to come in BEFORE our referral (pray expecting right?!)…I also expect that it’ll be close. BUT I don’t want it to be so close my stomach is in knots;).
Today (Saturday..the day before Easter) is often referred to as “Mystery Saturday”. The disciples mourned, “I believe He was Savior–we let Him down–will He really come back?!” As our FDL also remains a mystery for us—will you pray with us that it comes back soon and that we would trust our Savior who is over ALL things in His perfect timing.
Thank you sweet readers, friends and family for being on this journey with us. Thank you for laying your hearts on the line with us as we trust in Him in new ways. Thank you for praying with expectation and loving us in this process. I don’t know what the future holds, but I know who holds our future!
