Remember the precious little girl in Zambia who desperately needs surgery??? How we love Margret!
We shared her story–and her sponsored family joined Wiphan in helping to raise support for her surgery. She has two tumors in her leg, and because they were never removed they have caused infection and dead tissue. The tissue could probably be removed and she could have reconstructive surgery here–but in Africa…it looks a little different. They will remove the tumors so she will not go crippled and she can continue to use her leg–and it won’t get any worse. It is harder for her to pick up–but SHE keeps going and even tries to play! This has effected how her peers she her–but she is a strong and amazing girl…and we are believing big things for her. We are also praying the tumors are not cancerous. Please pray with us…and you can follow the rest of the story as our intern Kristen walks this path alongside her on her blog: http://kristincoleen.com/2012/01/23/pray-for-margert/
Our intern Kristin is amazing–and she left her job last year as a school teacher to move over and serve Wiphan. She is in her twenties and…she got offered her dream job to coach basketball on the college level JUST before she left. Tempting to say the least! Yet she said no…the Lord was calling her to serve orphans and widows…and she is now serving Wiphan in Ndola, Zambia. Y’all sign up to follow her blog–you will be so blessed! Please also keep Kristin in your prayers as she helps shape the ministry and love on the orphans and widows we serve. It’s a huge responsibility and we think she is doing an amazing job!!! We love you Kristin!!!! Please give Margret a hug from me–and know we are praying with you!
