Celebrating how God chooses to change our plans!

REMEMBER the precious family I posted and featured back in August that has chosen to adopt FIRST? Who is with our agency and who just happened to have a completed home study that would put them in a position to be ready at moments notice…only the current wait for Ethiopia is now over 1 year (trust me–it’s not because there isn’t a need–there are approximately 5 million orphans in Ethiopia!)…so CHECK this out. THEY ARE PARENTS!!! They chose adoption as their FIRST choice…their Plan A—and you have got to read their story! They may still be in shock–but they are sleepless and on cloud 9!Britney called me the week she got THE surprise phone call and we finally touched base…and when we did I heard a squeaky little noise in the background! A sweet baby BOY! I love how God chooses to some times change our plans and how His plans ALWAYS prevail!!! I love how they felt pressed to begin their home study when they did and they were already prepared for the plan and child God had set aside for them to love and raise. You have to read their story HERE and be amazed AND rejoice with the twists and turns some times God makes our stories take! Praise be and glory to God who loves us and these babies so much to put the two together for His glory!

Celebrating with the Cannon family and so excited to see what their future brings!

Andrea…remember how surprised I was for a half second when she was the winner of our first “Dress for a Cause” giveaway? Surprised only becasue they were not yet on the adoption journey. A perfect example of how God has us on a journey even before we know it ourselves! I remember her fb posts saying she had won like 15 adoption t-shirts and the comments were like..”Huh?? What for??” Simply amazing!
