Traveling on business:)

SO…Rico Suave (aka: the husband) often has to travel for his line of work. He works with energy, oil and gas companies–so his clients are all over…basically–they are every where BUT where we actually live:). BUT his office is there–so that is where we are:). Rico Suave warned me about an upcoming business trip to Traverse City, MI–which I went with him last year on this one…and we got our referral call WHILE we were here! He comes several times a year–but this time…we snuck in his suitcase:). 2 flights + 4 kids ages 6 and under…was interesting to say the least. They actually did REALLY good, and we’ve had a lot of fun!!!

They did ESPECIALLY amazing considering mommy kept the older 3 out on July 4th until 10:30 insisting we all see the fireworks while daddy was home with sleeping Isaac. We had a 6:30am flight…so you don’t even want to know what time we had to get up to leave and be at the airport by!!! It RAINED and RAINED and the kids wanted to see the fireworks SO bad. I thought for sure they would cancel them. I tried to tell the kids there was NO way they’d have them in the storm…but they insisted on not giving up on the wait. We stood and waited for hours together under a pavilion at the local high school because they shoot them from the football field. My kids learned a valuable lesson this time…good things come to those who wait…(had to snag this one with my iPhone)

I asked daddy if he would like us to come on all of his business trips with him! He laughed…but I’m not sure why he was laughing because this has been way more fun than being at home running our team solo. Now that we are going to homeschool we can totally just pick up and tag along any ole time honey;).

Momma needs to get home soon though because…I finally have tshirts to mail out (JUST GOT AN EMAIL THEY ARE IN!!!! So I’m mailing them out THIS WEEKEND!!!!) and then next week…I’m AFRICA BOUND! We DID order some extras…so I’ll let y’all know as soon as I ship all the orders what we have left!
