Snow days!

The kids have been out of school all week because of snow…SOOOO…we have had plenty of time for lots of THIS…(yes–on snow days we take our wheel-barrow apart…that’s how country folks do it:)

AND THEN…when the kids get bored—Mommy and Daddy have taken over. NOW, I realize some of you might not know my “not right” side. SO…here’s a sneak peak into that:). Truly, Richard and I are a pair–and we do “not right” things to make our kids laugh…and we also enjoy laughing at ourselves! SO…if you are snowed in and you need a laugh–may I reveal our “Mommy and Daddy Snow Bloopers of 2011”! (PAUSE MUSIC UP TOP BEFORE WATCHING!)

Our kids don’t stand much of a chance with us for parents. Bless them. BUT one thing is for sure–we do a lot of laughing here and we rarely end up hurt. And yes–we could have and should have moved Richard’s truck–BUT it added an extra layer of fun for mommy and daddy bloopers…and a good laugh and some added suspence is what we like to add to our home videos:)

For those of you coming to the retreat…are you worried that this crazy lady is behind some of the planning? No worries…I have got some AMAZING ladies to keep me straight:). XOXO!

You had me laughing out loud (and I’m at work). Wishing I had some snow to play in but I don’t think it’s in the forcast for Orlando. Thanks for sharing.

Okay, this had me giggling. Yikealo (my 4 year old little Ethiopian who LOVES the snow) came in to see why I was laughing. He started watching with me and then looked up at me with a slightly confused look and said, “She’s not very good, is she? Mom, is she practicing?”

So cute, and it looks like you’re all enjoying your “unusual” southern weather! Thanks for sharing!
