Our Cupcake Fundraiser

$3,000 raised for our travel through our virtual cupcakes! Thank you friends for supporting our trip to bring Isaac home!We were blessed to be able to fund our adoption through my working doing a photography business and Richard’s work—but when we got a surprise referral…we were crunched for our travel expenses. Of course, we welcomed the surprise–and were SO EXCITED…and our surprise brought an opportunity for us to allow the Lord to use others to help us travel around the world to bring our Isaac home. You can read initial “cupcake fundraiser post” here. We want to thank each of you who felt led to help us and become a special part of our adoption in supporting our trip! Thank you for helping us bring our cupcake home! Here are our contributors SWEET designs…

Thank you SWEET friends…(MANY of these cupcake donors are ADOPTING FAMILIES AND RAISING SUPPORT THEMSELVES! I stand amazed at the body of Christ! If you see a blog by a name…go take a peek and be blessed! These families who serve others while they, themselves, raise support have such beautiful hearts. Visit their blogs and BE BLESSED by their journey and their hearts!)

-Gold for his being a part of the Royal Priesthood of Believers. God’s son!
-The sweet mixture of “vanilla and chocolate” in your family heritage!
-The rainbow sprinkles as a reminder of God’s Promises He has for you and for Isaac!
-The “Light up the World” Candle as this child will bring Light into darkness and will be the Light of Christ and his testimony will minister to so many!

I would love to know how you did the logistics of your fundraiser. Our son Greyson died shortly after he was born, and in honor of his 1st birthday we did “Greyson’s Cupcake Party” and I baked 95 dozen cupcakes, with all of the proceeds going to Share. This year we moved in with my inlaws to help out with my father in law who is ill. It isn’t feasible for me to bake this year. I thought of a virtual cupcake party instead, and stubbled upon your site. I would love to know how you did this, and what graphics you used etc. I think it’s a fabulous way to help others and celebrate my little boy. Any help you could give would be much appreciated!!
Many thanks,
Casie Rentel
