One of my MOST FAVORITE things is checking my mailbox each day and getting Christmas cards from my dearest friends! (If you haven’t got one from us yet and you are a dear friend–I am super slacker this year and still have a stack to put in the mail!) I’ll have to post ours here tomorrow because it takes me back:).
Every year I display our cards in a different way. This year–I used our magnet boards AGAIN (that’s what I made them for last year!) AND I decided to add them to one of our trees in the white room:)
Magnets hold up the cards on these boards…and once these are full–I moved on to the Christmas tree beside them…
And some how the white room in our house stays white…(how this happens…I do not know:)

In other news…
The Youngs have joined forces with the McBrayers to put on a nativity play for the daddies later this week. This was ONLY a PARTIAL dress rehearsal! Here is a sneak peak: Mary and Gabriel…

Hope ya’ll all have a great day!!! I celebrated my 35th birthday today with my sweet family–and Rico Suave blew momma away with the most amazing gift!!! I am floored and thankful!!! I had THE best birthday with my kiddos–and then Christmas shopping with Rico and then dinner with my sister and brother-in-law! I feel SO blessed and truly feel like I’m so blessed!!!!!!

LOVE the nativity play – so cute!!!! And Happy Birthday! I just turned 35 on the 15th. Hard to believe we’re this age already, huh? 🙂

I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who hates flash. I still haven’t figured out how to use it during those times when I have to.

I LOVE the magnetic boards! What a great idea! I’m with you about going to the mailbox this time of year. I LOVE the Christmas cards. I have a friend who suggested years ago to keep a basket on the coffee table in which to put cards. I keep the basket out ALL YEAR! If the card has a picture, I never throw it away! I have cards from 5 years ago in my basket. I realized this year I need to do some cleaning out. I hardly have room! Every time I have guests in my home they immediately sit on the sofa and pick up the basket. It’s such fun conversation! MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family!
