There is one thing I will NEVER, EVER get tired of watching…the moment a little one is united with their family for the FIRST time! A sweet blog friend of mine welcomed home her precious baby boy this summer too! They have been pretty close right alongside us timing wise–and it’s a joy to celebrate with them. Sit back, grab some tissues…and enjoy yet another baby coming home! (turn the music off up top to view!)
On a prayer note…I have a friend who has been waiting a very, very long time to bring her baby home from India. Will you please say a prayer today, tonight…whenever you read this…that the Needham family receives their daughter’s passport THIS week? They are SO close to bringing their precious daughter home, and we need prayers from all over to pray this girl FINALLY home!!! Join with me praying that her passport comes in and this sweet girl comes home VERY soon! I’ve been praying since January that she will be home by August. Please pray that this happens!!! And booking tickets for July would be even BETTER!
Finally…I have to say THANK YOU to those of you praying for our transition. We have FELT your prayers. Each day, Isaac Temesgen becomes more and more comfortable that THIS is home. Right now, he is upstairs snoozing away. He sleeps beside me with one arm around my neck most nights…I get little sleep as I never can sleep that great with a baby beside me—but he sleeps so much better close by. We have another doctor appointment tomorrow to go over last week’s tests results so we can make a nutrition plan. Thank you for your constant prayers. We have felt them. Here is our sweet one playing his new favorite game…”peek-a-boo”. How cute is this…(you have to excuse my squeaky mommy voice!)

Oh Andrea….thank you so much for the prayer request! So much power in prayer and I know these blog readers are some serious prayer warriors! Brought tears to my eyes. I remember that you said August back in Jan., cuz I thought, “Oh no, it can’t possibly take that long!” Glad I didn’t know that I would wait 1 year from the time I saw her beautiful face in Aug. ’09 and 2 from when we started. Some things are just better off not knowing and going by faith! 🙂 God is good!

i am SO glad you posted JOnas video b/c I was wondering how I could make our gotcha day video since i am not video savy so I went to onetruemedia where they did his and that is how I did our Isaac’s!
