We have seen the Lord over and over and over…meet our need and show up in the unexpected! We have been able to pay for our adoption all in […]

Just wanted to encourage you as you raise funds for your adoption. My husband and I just brought our little girls home in January and we also emptied savings accounts and fundraised our way home. God will provide. It will be an awesome thing to watch!

Don’t fret….dying to pride- huge step….letting others help you bring home GOD’S CHILD- nothing better than that!

Kim - May 1, 2010 - 11:41 am

Love…love…love.

Rory - May 1, 2010 - 12:36 pm

Hi there! I just recently found your blog through lucy lane’s. So excited for your journey and can’t think of a better thing to contribute to. Hope our little donation will be one of many drops in a soon to be overflowing bucket. God will provide! And although we don’t know each other personally, just knowing that you are a sister in the family of God is enough! Praying for Isaac’s swift homecoming.
Love,
Rory

Andrea, spoke with my sister and we have an idea for you to raise $ for your trip. Please email me if you are interested. Do you know about our Prayer Angels -Psalm 91- God will put his angels in charge of you… They could be sold to you at wholesale price and you could price them like the stores do and I think it could be wonderful for everyone. I know that you could make something very cool…it is like a blank slate except for the verse in the middle…it is great personalized or left as is. It would make us feel so happy to help you and your family on the journey to bring Isaac home !

[…] Friday, we posted a cupcake fundraiser to help fund our Ethiopia trip. I contemplating selling t-shirts and emailed a few places…told […]

Why my mom is a Hippy…

Love my titles lately? I’ve been in rare form lately;). And speaking of rare form—I successfully managed 7 children 5 and under today…and that’s why you are just now hearing from me;). If you give 7 children 5 and under popcycles…it’s not that hard;). Just had to add my accomplishment of the day…had to help […]

Walking the walk is far greater an example than talking the talk ! Teaching is a gift and teaching new leadership is sooo important. Good for your momma !

Lara - April 30, 2010 - 1:42 pm

As a public school educator, we need more hippies! We have enough people sitting around complaining about those who are socioeconomically disadvantaged and how they drain society. Let’s do something to help! Bless your mom!

Fun question to answer:)

First, thank you sweet friends for praying for us…and now celebrating with us that we have a court date…JUST TWO WEEKS AWAY! HOOT! I’m so excited!!! Please pray with us that by God’s miraculous hand that we pass the first time! How we feel your prayers! How we are humbled and so appreciate for them!!! […]

So this is what I’m wondering; I was talking to a lady from AGCI about the new 2 trip thing and she explained that instead of having a Hannah’s Hope person represent you in court, you just appear yourself. So what happens if people travel and DON’T pass the first time? Can a HH staffer represent them for another court date?

Dawn - April 28, 2010 - 10:06 pm

SOO Excited & praying for another miracle & you will travel soon!!!!

Kim - April 29, 2010 - 8:17 am

SOOO excited for you and thrilled to be a part of praying your baby home!
Love & Blessings from Hong Kong,
Kim

JonesEthiopia - April 29, 2010 - 9:20 am

Andrea, I have a feeling you’ll pass court on the 13th!

Megan - April 29, 2010 - 2:57 pm

The fruit of surrender! Praise JESUS!

Andrea- so happy for you! Congrats, will continue to keep Isaac in our prayers. Also, thanks for posting the “I surrender” video. We just lost our 6 month old dog, Bella, yesterday during a routine spaying, and my 6 year old daughter had no reaction, wasn’t grieving. She came in my office this morning and heard and saw this video and just starting sobbing. Soon as she came home from school today she was humming this song and asked to see it again. She says it makes her feel better about Bella. Thanks so much, God is helping heal my little girl’s heart.
