Ever wonder…

what your hubby would do as Mr.Mom should you go to Africa while he stay at home with the other kiddos? I can’t help but smile every morning when I get his updates. How funny are these:

Monday update:
Daddy gets up 6:30…come on man
Laney and P are up and ready to roll
Coffee, strong
Kids eat pop tarts and yogurt
Frank rolls down at 7:30…starts hitting it, yogurt, pop tart, banana, etc…I am starting to think offensive guard
Kids bring down Parker’s pirate toys to the den…come on
8:00…get kids ready for VBS, pretty easy since their clothes are in bags prepared by mom
Got a 4 day old beard going…
Get everyone in the van and head out at 8:30.
Conf call into my sales call during carpool…Laney is quiet as a mouse, P of course just cannot chill out
Finally get P chilled…Frank starts yelling in some kids language, he is keyed up
Pull up and get kids into VBS…it looks pretty cool, they did a good job
Frank wigs when I put him in nursery, I hated it
Go home…pack lunch for the kids
How does that picnic basket work, it won’t open
Pack huge lunch for them
Shower and shave the beard off, I’m back!
Leave 11, got to get Frank early…he needs me
Get Frank and he slams lunch fast
Get kids, they had a good time…looks like Peachtree Rd did a really good job
Head straight for the zoo, kids pound lunch in the car
So then the plan was to drive around for a while and let Frank sleep so he could make it
Yeah right, Parker and Laney are hyped, not happening
Forget it, just head straight to the zoo, we’ll make it
Head into the zoo, kids are getting excited at 1:45
Not many people there, so good day to be there…it’s only 95 degrees
This girl with 3 kids tells me she knows me like the first 5 minutes in the zoo, I had the Wiphan shirt on and she said she knew me…no idea
I’m pretty sure she was hitting on me, so I say look lady I’m married to the best woman on earth…see ya
Of course we have to hit every animal, Frank is in awe, he loves it
Parker can’t stop talking and letting me know he knows everything about every animal
The lion roars when we are at the elephants…the craziest most frightening noise I have ever heard…cool
The kids run to see it, king of the jungle
Can’t get them out of there…finally leave at 4, sweated through our shirts
Time to head for pizza in Roswell….Alessios
Frank eats a whole loaf of garlic bread
Franks pees through his pants, he is laughing…what do I do
Check please, change the diaper in the van
Can we go for ice cream…yeah right…I broke down and gave it to em at home
Tomatoes, beans and peppers are coming in garden
Bath time for all 3, Frank is running around naked and laughing
Read books put Frank down, he is the best…dude he went all day without a nap and never whinned, he’s the bomb
Parker and Laney can sleep in her room…Ok
Of course they are asleep in 5 minutes
Parker is getting better, Laney obeys very well, Frank is easy going
…..I think that’s because you are such a good Mom…when are you coming home

Love R

Love my man…and love that he sends me these updates. Normally I’d be concerned the 19 month old didn’t nap…but how can a momma complain when daddy is bonding with her other babies while she bonds with their newest one?! Love you hon—and hope you don’t kill me for posting one of your updates;)

Waiting for baby to wake up. Loving my time with him.

I just loved this! I was laughing out loud and thinking of my sweet husband and how he would have had a break down with just one kid. Yours did a great job with all 3 and is too funny!
