Kids are just a RIOT aren’t they?!? =D I’m sorry for your crazy night but I’m so glad you had such a fun and eventful day. Sometimes being busy makes me forget how tired I am…that is until around 9pm hits! 😉 Who am I kidding!?! DINNER TIME sounds more like it 😉 praying for you! hoping things will get better soon for your precious family. hang in there mama! we can do it all once we get our sleep!!!!! I hope that you slept last night! We have been praying for you guys – I only wish that you lived closer so that we could help out. I, too, have an incredibly hard time asking/accepting help – definitely something that I will have to work on before number 4 comes home:). Praying for a relaxing day for you – yeah for grandparents!! I am a momma of three children and our family is currently waiting for a little girl from Ethiopia. So I LOVE reading your blog because soon, I will be in your shoes. I can so relate to everything you say, no sleep, husband traveling, not being able to accept help easily. It just looks like you are doing such an incredible job. You are in our prayers all the way in Massachusetts! The laundry train is the most thoughtful idea! Tricia is a love 🙂 I love how God provides people that are close to us to help us through transitioning times like this! God just answered a prayer for me, I was praying the other day that He would help me find the time and energy to be able to clean because I’ve been either spending all my time taking care of my Isaac or too tired to do anything so thankfully my 11 year old niece is AMAZING with Isaac and so she wanted to come over and hold him while I clean so I was finally able to clean this morning! YAY! I can only imagine their sweet little faces when you started dumping in all those water toys!! Best mama ever! Accept the help….remember it is a blessing for others and they WANT to help. Have a super fun party weekend! Happy Birthday Isaac! ooooooooh how fun!!!! Unfortunately, people kind of look at me cross-eyed when I talk about it, or all the “radical” ideas within it….basically the calling of all believers! lol 🙂 Yup, I love it! Our lives are already changing drastically for Him. I can’t wait to see what happens next! Amen! I know I will always find peace, in a crazy day , in the Word of God alone! My husband and I go read the same chapter sometime throughout the day and then we talk about it after the boys are in bed. LOVING my Wiphan cookbook btw, I might haft to order some more for Christmas gifts 🙂 Love seeing pictures of your sweet family! AMEN!!!! I had lost my time with Him a few days last week- and let me tell you….the enemy was right up in my face. Thank God for His grace, and my sweet sweet time with HIM! Makes my life worth living. Thank you for this today…so encouraging. I always love how real you are! 🙂 Thanks Andrea. I have found that there are different seasons in my life where I have to adjust when I do my devotional time with the Lord. When I worked in the corporate world, before my babies, it was easy to keep a really predictable morning routine. Ideally I like doing it before everyone gets up in the morning, but sometimes that just doesn’t happen…like when we add a new baby to our family and I am up in the middle of the night instead.:) During those months I have to switch it to their naptime or set up different “soaking” times throughout the day and get creative with devotions in the bathroom!:) I know other mamas go through the same thing and it is encouraging to read about each one keeping God first! I never want to get too busy for Him! Thanks for that reminder!:) Oh, and Isaac is purely edible. Love him!:) still working on figuring this out…OY! Right before we got our referral, I had just finished reading through the Bible for the very first time! Now I feel stuck…do you just pick books to read again?? I have been reading the Psalms again, but now that my daily goal is gone…it is harder for some reason. I found your blog through Kristi Johnson. (My sister is a friend of hers.) I want to let you know of a group I belong to — Scripture Sisters. It was started by two ladies who wanted to hold each other accountable and read through the Bible in a year. Now there are over 800 women who read the same passages every day. You get the weekly readings through email, along with a cute calendar and Scripture cards and a devotion every month. It’s great for moms who don’t have time to go to a Bible study. If you are interested, please send me your email address and city and I will get you on the list. Thanks for the great hair advice. I was at Sephora looking yesterday and came home a little dissapointed. The product I was looking for wasn’t available. I’ll have to look at my local stores for Taliah Waajid products.

oh yay…thanks for telling us about these products! i will definitely check them out. Has she told you anything about what age you start doing anything product wise for boys hair? Our isaac is 7 weeks old and his hair is still silky soft wave curls but I notice the day after his bath it seems drier and flakier and didnt know if I need to do anything even at this age?
