I told her she could purchase how ever many she wanted as long as she bought them before the retreat sold […] This is a break in our regularly scheduled family Sunday before our small group gets here and just after meeting with the precious Chinese lady who is in country for just a week…who will actually match us with our little girl…YES–just another crazy day in the Young family’s life…to INFORM you of the God news!!! […] Praise God!! This precious girl has been on my heart since I first read about her. I hope that she will know the story of all the people that have been praying for her. I tried to donate but it refused my (Australian) credit card. Do you only accept US credit cards? Rachel–I think it’s through Paypal or connected to it–so not sure why it wouldn’t process. Wonderful news! In awe of God’s provisions and faithfulness. Ok, so it’s 2am and I just couldn’t sleep because this little one has been so heavily on my heart. I have been praying day & night for God to surprise everyone who thinks that there may be no hope in this situation by providing everything she needs for surgery. Just happened to check your blog & surprise, once again God makes the impossible possible!!! Praying for amazing surgeons and a miraculous recovery! God is going to use this little one to speak to the hearts of many! Andrea, thank you for letting all of us know of this great need. Praying for Margaret’s surgery, well being, for her peace, reassurance and future! Lord, take care of this precious child. Awesome!! Wow, what a fast response! WOW! I haven’t done any blog-reading or much Facebooking in the past week or so so totally missed this project! Margret has been on my heart for months. Praising God for a diagnosis and funding for surgery! Praying for wise doctors, complete healing, and JOY and HOPE for precious Margret.  We are hoping to raise $2,000 for Margret’s surgery by next week–and just after posting the need yesterday…we are HALF WAY THERE! (Yes!!! Can you believe it??!!! $1,000 has been raised in ONE night!) One […] Andrea, this post was SO good for me! Made me EXCITED to get the kiddos to joint WITH me at the Lords altar. So often I feel like I have to be there first to lead them there, but in reality…they can lead US there so many times! As moms I feel like often we keep looking and looking ahead (even just 20 minutes ahead!) to look for that “alone” time to pour out our heart before the Lord. I have felt called to adopt from China for a year & a half now, but hubby not ready so I have focused my energy on families in need & orphans in Africa. Yet the pull to China is stronger than anything I have ever felt & goes HEART deep, that there will be a child there who needs us, waiting. A child who needs surgery…it just tears at my soul. I keep trying to let it go but the reminders are everywhere & pop up in the strangest circumstances. I will be praying day & night for this family…to God be the Glory… LOL – Even Rosie “Got Down…” Your kiddos are adorable with some fine dance moves. A kid-fave song in our household too. yay, I can post on your blog again. Left you a FB comment about what a blessing this blog post was to me this morning. Then I went to buy my shirt and realized this family lives very close to me and the dad was a former youth pastor of mine. What a small world and once again you are a blessing by connecting me to them and their story!!!! How amazing is our God! I ordered my t-shirt yesterday. Love the design. Can’t wait to hear the story. Bought my shirt yesterday. Couldn’t make that purchase fast enough;) !!!!!! I finally got around to ordering this awesome shirt today! Being a “China” momma, I am thrilled to have this shirt to wear! It’s also so fun to be able to help out another family in their adoption journey! |

Are you SERIOUS?!?! Andrea! I had ZERO idea you were gonna do an entire POST on this…on us. I wouldn’t have expected more than just a little line at the end of one of yours just so people know and don’t miss out on the giveaway. I never in my wildest dreams imagined THIS. The response has been so wonderful! I’m still going to send you an email, but I just had to say THANK YOU publicly. And I so HOPE you have a picture of your girl by January because then I’ll get to see her face AND you in person! Thank you for blessing us daily in so many ways.
