Sometimes it is so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day of motherhood, and lose focus on the gifts that God has given us to love without abandon. I just wanted to say- thank you for sharing about your helper- I think I read about the idea on your blog last year…so we did the same to help with our homeschooling (we have 5 kiddos, 3 recently adopted) and it makes it SO much more fun and SO much less stressful for mom- and I’m not out grocery shopping with 5 kids or at 10pm at night! Thank you for honestly sharing how your HS works…sometimes others have snide comments about it…but I have my sanity and that’s all that matters! I hold on to the truth-telling desperately as we are on the cusp of beginning foster care. Scared out of my ever-loving mind, when I hear the truth and see how God has worked in it, I feel more grounded to see exactly how He faithfully provides in every. single. situation. Thank you so much! Just keeps getting more and more wonderfully bizarre! I love this story because watching God pursue T has been such a reminder that He pursues me too. He lavishes love on us for no reason other than He delights in us. Can’t wait to hear more : ) No one writes a better story than God!!! Thank you for documenting this MIRACLE! I’ve read every word about this sweet girl and am jumping for JOY! God is so good! One of my dearest friends is adopting “Dz” and that’s how I found your blog. Dancing a jig over here! Such wonderful news! He indeed sets the lonely in a family, and am so happy she has you as a “big sister” right around the corner. I know your littles will enjoy that as well. Blessings to your family, including your Mom and Dad for allowing the Lord to work through you as a conduit to finding a forever family for T! How Great is Our God!

Amazing!! Just amazing! Here’s a girl who aged out and didn’t have much of a chance…NOW she is one of the first of the summer kids to make it home forever!! God is just amazing!

Truly, this story is the most amazing “orphan to family” story I’ve ever heard of. Thank you for sharing with the world. It’s God’s Story; to read about all the details and the timing of everything that He so perfectly brought together, is so faith building. T looks so happy in this picture.
