We would love to share the resources we will be using throughout the year with the “sweet sixteen” for those of you in the midst of educating and parenting middle school girls! These resources are wonderful whether you are home educating or you want to supplement to your daughter’s private or public school education.
We firmly and whole-heartedly believe you will never regret slowing down to pour deeper into the hearts of your children. I (Andrea) always say, “I’m not raising my kids for Harvard. I’m raising them for the mission field.” For me, the mission field is knowing how to slow down and really love people in our world. For this reason, the Barn Gathering weekly curriculum looks a little bit different. Parents participating in the Gathering are homeschooling the 4 other days of the week working hard to complete everything in 4 days so this mid-week gathering can fill their girl’s cup with priceless heart growth that will last a lifetime. May you keep your eyes UP and focus narrow on His perfect, pleasing and good will for your life.

Journal Bible (ESV) – samples of some of the ESV journal Bibles the girls have that are perfect for inductive study and side journaling: THIS, THIS, THIS or THIS (There are many choices on Crossway and Amazon the girls can choose from. Just be sure the Bible you purchase has single column journal feature and is ESV version.)
