Together for Adoption Conference and some thoughts…

Well, the 4 of us made it safely to Austin, Texas…the FOUR of us you ask? Yes, it was supposed to just be me, Rico Suave and Isaac T.—but we were heading out for our flight when we ran into some traffic. (Might I add we were also already running late trying to get all the kids settled and us packed up too!). SO…we realized we could take Frank all the way to my sister’s as planned and risk missing our flight OUT–or because Frank is still under 2…we could just be flexible—and bring him with us!!! We are fly-by-the-edge-of-your-seat (no pun intended!) kind of a couple–so this is SO us!!! Taken with my iphone…here is our Wiphan booth representative at this weekend’s conference…He has been a big helper–and I’m one of those weird mommies who can’t stand to leave her babies anywhere so it’s been a joy to have him add to the craziness!!!

And speaking of crazy—I forgot all of ITY’s hair products…can you tell???BUT he was sporting his smocked pumpkin outfit on the first day of October–and only ONE person asked what *her* name was…something I always seem to get when he’s in a smocked outfit.

We paid a visit to Walmart for Frankie-baby because we only had ONE outfit packed for him because he was only spending one night at my sister’s house before my parents came into town!!! By the way–you can get the cutest little applique shirts at Wally World for just $3.50:)

So far, the conference has been really fun. We haven’t gone to too many of the breakout sessions because we are ADD…we can’t sit still THAT long…and we are chasing the little ones…

OKAY…I wrote all of that (above) on Saturday afternoon and THOUGHT I posted it…but I guess it didn’t go through. SO…here in the rest of the weekend…and pictures I just downloaded from my “real” camera (the others above were taken with my iphone)…

It was Frankie baby’s FIRST airplane ride…so I had to grab a few pictures of his first big journey at the airport…

Oh this BOY is my heart. How I love all my babies with so much of my heart. With four that have my heart—my cup just overfloweth. I feel SO blessed that God would choose me to be their mommy!!!

TWO babies in ONE hotel room? Well, believe it or NOT–it was SMOOTH and they slept through the night BOTH nights!!! God’s grace was shining down upon us!!! And in the morning…they’d kick it together while we got ready…

I mean SERIOUSLY…could they be ANY cuter?!

Okay…so those were some highlights from our trip. The low point was Austin has an influx of crickets and cockroaches. The crickets FLY…and I don’t do flying crickets. Here is a little friend who welcomed us into our hotel room…Seriously—you can’t tell from the picture, but these things were HUGE. I have never seen such. One flew in the hotel and someone asked if it was a bat. Nope–just a giant flying cricket. I was squealing and the babies were laughing…and it was so not funny. Just sayin’.

Here are a few more from the conference at the Wiphan booth…Our Wiphan widows made all those necklaces Frank is wearing. I mean, how could you not buy one with him modeling them? I’ll tell you how–he refused to share them or take them off…so not many necklaces were sold this weekend;) His OTHER main focus–was to visit each booth and to eat their candy. He took this daily bullet point on his agenda VERY seriously–and I have to tell you, those stinkin’ orphan advocates at each table are VERY bad at turning a bald headed baby away. I had to keep a close eye on people offering him more candy;).

I can’t tell you how many times we were asked if ITY was from Zambia. We were confusing people;).

AFTER the conference on Saturday, we got together with some of our AGCI family in Austin. Now…if you are with AGCI you know what I mean when I say AGCI family. We are SO family at AGCI–and it doesn’t matter WHERE you are…you make every effort to get together and have community. I LOOOOVE my AGCI family:) Here is our AGCI Texas family…

And here is our AGCI family kiddos making their silly faces…

Finny and Isaac represented Hannah’s Hope at the get together…and they were SO cute together!

The REAL entertainment came from the 3 almost 2 year olds together! We TRIED to get a picture–but OF COURSE they were NOT having it…

It was really SUCH a fun weekend with our AGCI family, representing Wiphan at the exhibit booth AND just having community with others that share our heart for orphans and adoption. We were able to stick our heads in a FEW things…and the things we walked away with were…

…do not be discouraged if your pastor is not backing your attempts to start an orphan ministry at your church (our’s is not there yet either…but we will not give up trying!) I know this baffles some of you to hear that–but we go to a big church and I think we are realizing more and more that we are going to just have to continue moving forward whether we have the church’s leadership going with us or not. We have to run where we fill the Lord taking us and trust Him to equip us.

…being called to adoption is being called to helping your child with a life time of healing. It really is the church and the body of Christ that needs to be surrounding families called to adopt and foster—offering them support, help with meals, aid with babysitting and with the older children as new families as adjust. Not every family can or will adopt or foster–but EVERY member of the body of Christ can find a place to be a part of the orphan crisis and being used by God as He sets orphans in families.

…COMMUNITY. This was my “extra”…my time with my dear friend in the hallway…sitting and talking for hours together…talking about the importance of supporting one another and loving one another through community. To experience true community and life together–there will be sacrifice. We live in a culture so reliant on stuff, being busy, cyber relationships, quick emails, etc–that we often fail to really experience community and make TIME for one another. It is easier to expect others to slow down for us–but some times so hard to slow down and make sacrifices for others. Richard and I are really learning the value of making sacrifices…flying our family to Texas to sit in the hallway with other believers who share our hearts and make efforts to love and encourage one another. We want to continue to search for ways to do life with other families…and we always dream about how we can better live in community with others.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST…one thing I really wish the conference offered was TIME to REALLY connect with other moms who share the same heart and passion…where we could learn from one another, encourage one another and simply hang together. SOOOO…I think it just might be time for some crazy person like me and a few others to plan a weekend together just for moms to come and spend time together and be encouraged and refreshed. I’m thinking counseling insight…hair tutorials;)…coffee…dessert and prayer time for our families…sharing our experiences and putting our heads together how we can do orphan care with our families and encourage our community to run with us. SO…my wheels are turning—and I think I may be on to something. Wouldn’t YOU want to come?!?!?!

Hope you all had a great weekend!!!

BY THE WAY…the panties and pads from “It’s a Girl Thing” which is supplying orphans and widow women in Korah and Wiphan with a more sanitary way to get through their monthly cycles have started arriving!!! WOW! I am so thankful–and so HONORED to do ministry with you all!!! I can’t WAIT to get these on their way very soon!!! Thank you so much for joining us and using your hands and hearts to bless these women!!!

Sara - October 3, 2010 - 10:23 pm

The leadership at our church doesn’t share our passion for orphans and adoption either. It is hard and heartbreaking! But, we haven’t given up! Oh, and I’m in for a mommy retreat!

Kristin - October 3, 2010 - 10:43 pm

I’m on the same page as you!

missy - October 4, 2010 - 1:03 am

wow…what a weekend!
*i love that you are undaunted in the smocked outfit regardless of comments you may have gotten about ity being a girl. i got one comment about lulu being a bow and since then i refuse to take her out without a huge hair bow.
*taking frankie was obviously a great choice. too bad it wasn’t after the movie was released so you could work his movie star status for the benefit of wiphan. but he obviously was working the crowd anyway.
*i am IN for the adoptive mom’s gathering. SOOOOOOOO in.

Cristie - October 4, 2010 - 1:12 am

Hey girl! I can’t believe y’all were in Austin! I wish we’d come down from Waco to hug y’all and meet ITY in person!!! And can you believe that in only 3 months of living here that I’ve gotten used to these crazy crickets…I mean, you step on and squish crickets on the floor in stores sometimes because there’s so many! Crazy! I never saw crickets (and roaches) this fierce in ATL!!!

Meredith - October 4, 2010 - 7:26 am

We are new to the AGCI family, but we love it already. I would love, love, love a mommy retreat! So glad you had a fun weekend!

Ashley - October 4, 2010 - 8:09 am

Andrea,

I have some bags and panties that we made for the It’s A Girl Thing…but don’t know where to send them…if you’ll email me an address I’ll get them on their way! We have about 80ish bags…

Loved meeting you at the conference! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for not thinking we are crazy stalkers!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Think the adoptive mom’s weekend is a great idea! Oh… and it is so funny that you said something about the crickets, during one of the main sessions I saw a huge one crawling down the auditorium isle!!

It was fun to see you in real life:-) Learned so much at T4A this weekend, just still trying to process it all.

Fall wreath…and celebrating fun!

While I should be packing for the Together for Adoption conference while the babies are sleeping—INSTEAD…Parker, Laney and I put together a little Fall wreath after being inspired by a burlap wreath I saw on Tatertots and Jello. We just put a little twist on it and visited ole Hobby Lobby (AKA: Ole faithful) for some fall fabrics and lime green gems. I already had the burlap fabric–and instead of wrapping a foam wreath in burlap–I just bought a straw wreath instead. SO…here is our finished product from the babies nap time today…
Instead of using brads—I wanted to use hotglue because I have little ones who like to occasionally pull on things;). SO…I hot glued everything—pinned it with pins too…and then hotglued the gems on top to cover up the pin heads.

Found a few teeny paper mache pumpkins at the HL too that we randomly placed and hot-glued on too…

I intended to replace my old Fall wreath with this one…but don’t ya think this is just too cute to put outside? I think it needs to stay on the coat closet door to remind me “Happy Fall”:)

I’ve got an old antique bench sitting in our foyer that is now begging for matching “happy fall” pillows. Now I *am* a bargain girl…so if I can’t make it myself…I rarely buy decor. Because I have all the supplies already I think I’ll grab two pillows from the couch and just recover those for some Fall fun next week:). So–go diggin’ through your fabrics and see what you already have for a fun fabric Fall wreath! For some reason, Fall screams CRAFTS to me…so watch out folks–we might already be crazy here…but the crafts are about to come out again:).

I’ll be up LATE tonight packing for the conference (if you are doing…stop by and see us at the Wiphan table in the exhibit room!) BUT…I have to document our physical therapy appointment and SHOCKING our therapist!!! SOOOOO…

We walked into therapy and our little 2 year old buddy with Down Syndrome was already working out with his PT (we see the SAME families EVERY week and it’s so much fun getting to know other families and cheer their little ones on!) So…I prepped the room and told everyone very nonchalantly that Isaac Temesgen had a little trick to show everyone. Instead of taking him all the way to where we normally start–I just slowly put him down in the center of the room. He sat there for one second—looked at his 2 year old buddy…smiled…AND TOOK OFF! Oh sweet day I wish you could have heard the squeals! And the SWEETEST of all was the squeal of his friend with Downs–I looked over and saw him CLAPPING and SMILING for Isaac…and I have to say that I felt like I was looking at a glimpse of the Lord’s joy! OF COURSE I teared up and Emily, our physical therapist, was SHOCKED!!! She said that was a FIRST for her…and she had NEVER seen anyone with hypotonia go from putting pressure on their knees on ONE day and taking off the next week–much less the next day!!! We are SO proud of you Isaac Temesgen Young!!!

This should make our conference REALLY interesting;). I thought I was taking a non-mobile sitter–and we’d set up toys and a little blanket for him behind the Wiphan booth…hmmmm…might be a little bit more exciting now. You know this momma is NOT ready to leave this one behind—and I’m sad to leave the others…but it will be a good little babymoon for ITY, me and Rico Suave! Thanks to Aunt April, Christy, Jett and my sweet momma…the others will have lots of playdates and fun…and Frankie baby will get to stay in his crib and on his nap schedule. NOW…off to pack up for T4A–and get ready for a weekend of fun. Say a little prayer that we do okay on a plane ride tomorrow night. I am a little nervous about taking Isaac on another plane ride–and hope he just snoozes through it!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST…I finally am sending Isaac’s adoption announcements out! If I have your address–then yours is either on it’s way or in your mailbox:). If I don’t have your address (email it to me so I can add it to my address book…I have some extras! Until then–here is a virtual adoption announcement:)!!! Hope you all have a great Wednesday!

(front)

(back)

Hope you all have a great week…and of course a Happy Fall!!! Isn’t it fun that FALL is FINALLY in the air?! I’ll end on this AMAZING, sweet song and story…

Life as We Know It… (Where’s Frank?!)

Remembering back…

As some of you may remember–we did all kinds of fun and crazy things last Fall as we were jumping through the hoops of our home study and our Ethiopian dossier. One of the many crazy things we did…was jump in a movie! So, we’ve waited an ENTIRE year for it to finally come out! While you might only see the rest of us in the birthday part scene at the end of the movie…you just might see Frankie baby a bit more at the end. I just couldn’t help but share this commerical advertisement with you all;). See if you can find Frankie baby in this one…

They pulled Frank and my bestfriend’s daughter Lexi for a little more shooting time. And we ended up hanging with Katherine Hiegel and Josh Duhamel a few extra days…as well as getting to go to the after filming party with the entire crew. It was so much fun…and just a fun memory to all do together! Here are a few pictures (taken with my phone) from our time. No cameras on the set–so these had to be taken incognito:)

Here is Laney-Loo pressed and dressed for the birthday party scene…

Not sure the face she is making here with Katherine…but this was at the after filming party late on the last night of shooting…

And here is Frankie baby during shooting…

Frank was a HIT among all the cast. Here he is bonding with the director…

And here momma was stuck as a background person in the living room…while if you look closely you can see Frankie baby being passed around the cast…here in Josh Duhamel’s arms…
Oh wait! You can’t see him? I could hardly see him either–and it was almost MIDNIGHT when we were filming…but he was a rock star and was as happy as a lark! I think he was actually in shock with all the lights and people. Okay, so this comes out October 8th…and you’ll have to sit there all the way to the end to see him in the movie for I’m sure just a few minutes;). BUT so fun none the less!!!

This was SUCH a fun memory to do with my bestfriend Kelly (WHO lives just about 20 minutes from me now…and who I have been friends with since the 7th grade!!!) The two of us are ALWAYS up for anything fun…and so thankful to have a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants side-kick!

OKAY…and on to BIGGER and GRANDER THINGS…TOMORROW is our BIG debut at the PHYSICAL THERAPIST!!! Are YOU as curious and excited as I am to see what our physical therapist has to say about our crawler?! SOOO can’t wait to show her our little miracle! And we are still delighting here in the newness of this fun phase!!! He is ALL over the place making new discoveries…and I am so, so, so thankful for his continued progress and healing. Thank you for being a part of our lives and for praying!!!

So fun!! Ya’ll are movie stars!! And I am just thrilled about Isaac crawling! Yay!!!!

Kim - September 29, 2010 - 3:53 am

I remember the post. Hard to believe that was a year ago?! Loved the trailer and spotting baby Frank! How cool is that?!
I am also sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for that PT report. If Frank is your MOVIE STAR … that makes ITY your ROCK STAR!
Cheering you on from Hong Kong,
Kim

missy - September 29, 2010 - 10:27 am

i had forgotten about your movie star experience! i was just watching that trailer the other night. how FUN to watch it again and see frankie baby in it!

Jen - September 29, 2010 - 2:22 pm

how do you mark your pics with “babeofmyheart”? just wondering:)

Jennifer - September 30, 2010 - 11:48 pm

So fun! I was actually thinking of you on the way to India. Sitting in the airplane on the way there w/time to watch a movie, I was trying to remember the title. Ended up watching a good movie (can’t remember the title now) but it obviously wasn’t yours…LOL!

Our weekend…Part 2

SO…of course if you read yesterday’s post–you heard the BIG news that our Isaac is CRAWLING! I can’t WAIT to share our physical therapist’s reaction that we get at PT on Wednesday morning!!! He is ALL OVER the place! Rich and I were laughing tonight because we are so used to having him sit in ONE spot and we couldn’t find him for 1 minute tonight…he scooted around the corner quietly and just had the BIGGEST smile when we peeked around at him. He is so proud of himself, and he thinks it’s SO cool that he can explore on his own now. AND he also said the word “elbow” this weekend. Seriously. So–now he says: momma, dada and eh-bow:). Yep–he’s definitely our son…they are all crazy like that!!!

Okay, SO—just before we took off out of town for my friend Melanie’s wedding—we got a new battery for our little tractor in the mail! Mr.tractor has been sitting in our garage for over a year now with a bad battery. It just got slipped down the priority list. I refused to pay $75 for a new one…and decided to take my chances on an off-brand on ebay. AND IT WORKED! The kids got out an old play cowboy hat and of course momma had to grab the camera. ITY was happy to watch the craziness in the grass…and for the most part they have done pretty good NOT fighting over Mr.tractor…but not always as you will see in this slideshow! I had to put one of my old favorite songs to this one! As I see Isaac’s glowing smile—and my older 3 children…I can’t get over how GOOD the Lord is to us. As you watch, listen to the words and may your heart also rejoice in His faithfulness and goodness to you. He is always faithful–even when it gets hard. And what is really amazing–is when you see Him through the hard…and you can’t help but dance and worship! (You might want to turn off the website music up top before watching)

The rest of our weekend was spent with our familly in Tennessee…and this momma darting all over from Bridesmaid luncheon to rehearsal to rehearsal dinner…pictures and wedding and reception. One of my bestfriends got married…and it was an honor to stand beside her. Isn’t she a beautiful, happy bride…and can you spot this momma in this photographer’s snap shot?If you are ever in need of a photographer in Athens, GA or even the outskirts or around the Atlanta area…Dylan Blue Photography might need to be your pick! She is a dear from of my friend Melanie–and does both weddings and family portraits…and she did a beautiful job with her wedding.

OR you can of course just do like me…and snag portraits of your little ones yourself. Maybe we should have a photography mommy 101 class when I convince you all to come to town for the Wiphan Warthog Waddle next Spring!

Warthog Waddle you ask??? YES!!! Whether you waddle or run—go ahead and save-the-date!!! We’d LOVE to have you join us, get your friends…your church…your small groups…and help us by running in this race to raise money for Wiphan Care to benefit orphans and widows in Ndola, Zambia!!! Who’s in?! I can promise you that I won’t be running–but if you are a waddler…I’d love to waddle right there with you!!! SO…go ahead and ask your husbands if you can come;) You can see more details here.

Last but not least–we are still not QUITE to our goal for Wiphan’s Operation Silent Night. You can read about it here. Will you consider posting the video on your blog or sharing this need? Or even joining us by making a $45 donation??? We are getting close…but not QUITE to our goal!!!

We have ANOTHER big weekend ahead–which I can’t wait to share with you all!!! But for now–I’m just SO excited about showing off at PT on Wednesday!!! Thank you for running this race with us! We are so thankful!!!

P.S. My kids are collecting Box Tops for their school. We’re trying our best to collect as many as we can each month this year! So…before your throw away a box with one of these on top…cut it out–and save it for the Youngs!!! We would LOVE your box tops before you toss them!

Oh I just want to get my hands on those precious kiddos of your and give um a big squeeze! We definitely need to think of a reason to travel to Atlanta some day! After we bring our “Peaches” home of course!

When your prayers are answered and your dreams come true…

HAVE YOU MISSED ME?! Okay, you know I love bloggin’…and I’ve been MIA for a bit–which could mean 1) Something is wrong 2) I am extra busy 3) I’m on vacation. Okay…I can assure you that I haven’t been on vacation…that would be nice–but not so much. I am also happy to share–that for once…NOTHING is wrong!!! Which leaves…I AM EXTRA BUSY!!! Now…this is when you are supposed to wonder what I’m up to!!! Well, for those of you who have been praying for Isaac Temesgen for awhile and who have been following his sweet story–this is the blog entry that leaves you grinning from EAR to EAR. This is the blog entry “when your prayers are answered and your dreams come true.”

For those of you who know our story from beginning to now–do you remember what the Lord did to calm my heart the NIGHT we got Isaac’s referral? He was 8 months and unable to lift his head. While most babies at 8 months are crawling–all he was doing was smiling. Yet, we felt the Lord saying, “HE. IS. YOUR. SON!” We said yes–and after we said yes–the Lord gave us a sweet gift. I had a very real dream that night that Isaac was crawling. In my dream–the other children were running around…I was squealing and he was all over the place. We really believed this was a dream from the Lord saying our Isaac was going to be okay. This past Wednesday (when I blogged last), Isaac got on his knees and was able to put pressure on them during physically therapy. The therapist looked at me and said, “Now, I don’t want to get your hopes up—but if I had to guess…I’d say this baby will be crawling in 6-8 weeks–just my guess!” I was SO excited! I left there on cloud 9!!! I called Richard to tell him how well he had done.

On Thursday morning I was getting ready and asking Laney to sit with Isaac for a minute while I brushed my teeth in the bathroom. From the other room, she started screaming, “Momma! He’s crawling! He’s crawling!” Which I replied, “Darlin’ it’s rockin’ baby. He just started doing it yesterday–it’s called rocking…but HE WILL CRAWL one day I promise!” She kept screaming he was crawling…but this momma just kept brushing her teeth…thinking, “Bless her heart–she just wants him to crawl so badly…how sweet–but he is CLOSE!” THEN…we proceded to have one of the craziest mornings–got in traffic, the older two were late because of it and I had to check them in…and then I was late for a playdate at MY house. BUT to my surprise—we sat down to play—and I saw for myself exactly what my daughter had been trying to tell me. He took off–and started crawling!!! And well, I’ve been a little busy, excited, even to far gone on cloud 9 to blog every since;). (We also were out of town all weekend…SO I have some catching up to do!!!)

BUT…SO MANY of you have been a part of our journey. SO MANY of you have prayed for us along the way. SO…I wanted to share this BIG MILESTONE with you–and everything it means to us…with you so you can rejoice with us!!! So…just a week shy of 14 months…our little man is ON THE MOVE!!! Here is a video of him crawling (you’ll have to ignore my crazy mommy squeals–and Frank’s binky…we choose our battles here…) I love that he had ME miss his first crawl and allowed LANEY his sister–someone who has hoped and prayed for this day see it first. Later I had to ask for her forgiveness for not listening and believing—and she just said, “It’s okay mommy. But I TRIED to tell you!!!” God’s timing really is always perfect. And I just have to share!!! Here is a bit of OUR JOY…

Thank you so much for all of you who have prayed for us and continue to pray. God’s timing is SO, SO perfect. We discovered just hours after his crawling that our little man had some internal yuck to get rid of which we’ll be working hard on in the weeks ahead–but everything is curable and we believe…really believe…he is going to be well soon. We really believe his respiratory, GI, even physical delays will soon be gone…and we are even hopeful he has no underlying cause to his hypotonia. I know I am his momma and just have to believe this—and I am thankful for those of you who pray and believe this with me.

One of my BIGGEST encouragements and cheerleaders in this journey has been my friend Kristi Johnson. This sweet friend has been there to listen to me say with confidence that I believe my son is going to be 100% healthy–and she has also been there when we had no idea. This is the family that first inspired us to adopt–and it was so sweet to see them this weekend when we were in their area for a wedding. What PERFECT timing to share this milestone with them and for Isaac to play with his sweet friend Lucy Lane. Words can’t express how much this family means to us—and thankful I am for their constant friendship and love to our family!!! So…we had to grab some footage once again of these two playing together!

The thing that gets me about that video of Lucy Lane and Isaac Temesgen–is how HAPPY and JOYFUL they both are. I think about their stories…both so powerful. I think about how much different their lives would look if God never led their birth moms to ultimately love them so much…to chose life for them. I truly believe that these two–and many others–have such a calling on their lives for the Kingdom. I believe God will use them to do amazing things in this world…and I am just so honored that God would chose me to parent this little guy. I feel like my prayers truly are being answered–in more ways than one. And that the dreams of my heart—aligned with His—really are also coming true. There is SUCH JOY in following Him and trusting Him through this adoption journey. And my oh my…how I understand why families adopt again and again.

I want to thank you for being on this journey with our family…and for encouraging us and rejoicing with us!!! We are SO excited for all that is ahead…and I’ll leave you with some picture fun from these two little ones…(You’ll want to turn down the music up top for this one!) Indeed, these two are happy little babies. And I have to say they have made their mommas even happier!!! Dispite any bumps in the road–I can’t tell you how much JOY my little man brings to my life…and I know Kristi would say the SAME thing of her Lucy Lane.

I have lots more from our weekend to share! I got a few SWEET emails asking if we were okay…and YES we are…thankfully I’ve been on my toes with a new mobile one–and we took Thursday to Sunday to be with our family in Tennessee. More fun to share tomorrow—but HAD to share our great news with ya tonight!

Rejoice in the Lord always…and again I say rejoice…

Thank you! I cannot tell you how powerful your story is in inspiring others to act on God’s behalf. I needed this as a reminder of all of the miracles that God has shown me in my life. I have been praying about adoption hubby is not quite ready (yet). We are helping other families in mean time.
We have a child with Sensory Processing Disorder who we were told would never be “normal”. I researched & did his therapy myself 5 days a week. I believed when no one else did. Now at age 6 my kiddo is making 100’s in school & he is PERFECT just like your little one will be! Your little trooper will be healed & will be a living testimony to God’s faithfulness to those who follow his direction when he calls. I am praying fervently for your little one. IF FAITH CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS THEN IT CAN CERTAINLY MOVE LEGS!

After stalking your blog for months and crying EVERY time…I figured I should say Hi and let you know how encouraged I am from reading…I was so excited watching ITY crawl that it was like he was my very own! So very neat to see the Lord’s hand in that precious little life.

karen smith - September 27, 2010 - 9:03 pm

So glad to SEE ITY crawl! I called my husband at work today and he said he was in his office watching this video at lunch and he was crying! That is how much we all celebrate the wonderful things that ITY is accomplishing. We are all so connected through this journey and if we never meet, no worries, we are still praying! Love, Karen Smith
