We raised our right hands. I cried. Isaac gave the judge a high five. (Doesn’t the judge look happy???? He said adoptions are the highlight of his work…and our crew made his day! We also used up a lot of sticky notes from his desk letting the kids color on them…and I never knew how entertaining paper clips could be!)
One of the sweetest moments I’ll carry with me forever!
Thank you Dee Debardeleben (my dear friend Melissa’s husband) who helped us complete our son’s adoption here in the states. Isaac is NOW a U.S.citizen and our adoption is “complete and final”! What sweet words to hear today!!! Our 1 year Gotcha day, our readoption day…and now THIS Saturday we celebrate his 1 year being HOME and with FAMILY!!! Can’t WAIT to share pictures from that…but in the mean time–momma has a party to plan!
