What a sweet day celebrating our baby boy! He’s not so much baby any more…he is officially TWO!!!! We had a little bug birthday and kept things super simple with family and two of his little Ethiopia friends:). I told the sweet people at the Cake Shoppe to just put any ole critter on it. I’m really not sure what that critter is. It could be a lizard, iquana or tadpole with legs approaching the metamorph stage (thought we’d have an early homeschool lesson there I guess;). We let the kids decide what they thought it was…the votes were inconclusive…I’m sure he is a tadpole with legs though.
Also–do you notice anything odd about the candles on the cake?? OK…so last minute–realized I had no birthday candles. I grabbed two tealight candles and lit those suckers. SOOO…technically we could have had the candles lit for 60 minutes:). Nice.
Happy birthday Isaac!!! We are so blessed to be your parents…we love you so, so much. Today we thank God for another year with you!!!
