…for He is good! His love endures forever!
Truly, the Lord is making straight the path for our Isaac to come home. We saw the Lord again provide today for us—and tomorrow morning Isaac’s packet will be FedExed to our agency for final acceptance! Our agency already sent our FDL to the US Embassey in Ethiopia…so now—we patiently (and excitedly) await a court date for our son!
I smiled several times thinking of all of you on this journey WITH us. So many of you have prayed for us and encouraged us along the way. Thank you. Thank you for being along for this beautiful ride with us. It seems to only get more precious. Aren’t you just ITCHING to see our Isaac’s face??? Trust me…he is BEAUTIFUL! Reminds me how we should LOOONG to see our Savior one day…to see His face…to finally be in His arms…FOREVER. What a beautiful picture of our journey to Isaac! And he has NO idea what love is in store for him!
We completed our referral consultation today with our agency—an hour just reviewing that paperwork (which mind you I ALREADY had signed and notarized;). I also threw all 3 of the kids and raced across town after nap time to get the pediatrician’s review…and we will be the first in line tomorrow at FedEx;). We might be eating off beany-weanies for the next couple of weeks…but the Lord is providing and we are so thankful.
I *REALLY* am going to start the Bible commentary back up this week! It’s been a crazy, busy day—but tomorrow…I’m all over it;).
For those of you who are adopting, have adopted or who love someone who is—I have been reading up on suggested readings today. I have created a resource page for us to come to so I don’t lose the articles I have found helpful…and some I still just want to read. You can always find it under my “Adoption” tab now so they are also easily available for you too. I’m going to print off my favorites, put them in a little folder and share them with my friends and family so they understand why we do the things we do;). Check out the page of resources here.
