The next Lionel Messi {Frankie baby’s ball control} & Family Rules Art

You gotta love our Frankie baby. You rarely get a smile out of him, but you can get anything out of him with a donut. He’s 2 going on 10–and he seriously thinks he can hang with Parker’s soccer team. And…he might be right. Frankie baby hasn’t missed a practice this year–in his 2 year […]

Hilarious! The jersey just makes it that much cuter! I love your idea for the rules. If you can get crafty with 4 littles then I’m thinking there’s hope for me to paint a nativity scene for my yard before Christmas! Thank you for the inspiration!

That is one of the neatest gift I’ve ever seen…makes me want to get started on one right away for my sisters Christmas presents. Thanks for sharing!

Not been here for a while, so it was nice to catch up on things in your family. What a LOVELY idea for a present for your sister and a family heirloom to boot!

half way there!!! {and a few fun pictures from our day}

We are hoping to raise $2,000 for Margret’s surgery by next week–and just after posting the need yesterday…we are HALF WAY THERE! (Yes!!! Can you believe it??!!! $1,000 has been raised in ONE night!) Sooooo exciting! One of my Zambia trip teammates just sent me this precious picture of Margret. She is just so precious…and […]

Had SO much fun! I have to say the “SMOREing” it up was definitely the highlight for me 🙂 xoxo. And WOW- cant believe its been a year!

Because we were BOTH created for His care…

There were so many things I took away from the last Created for Care momma’s retreat (a retreat designed for adoption moms–but you do NOT have to be an adoption mom to come!), but one thing that has blessed me most–is learning to live in His gift of coming to Him WITH my children. One […]

Andrea, this post was SO good for me! Made me EXCITED to get the kiddos to joint WITH me at the Lords altar. So often I feel like I have to be there first to lead them there, but in reality…they can lead US there so many times! As moms I feel like often we keep looking and looking ahead (even just 20 minutes ahead!) to look for that “alone” time to pour out our heart before the Lord. Then, we are missing the present moments. THANK YOU for this! 🙂

I love this! This post was a wonderful way to start MY day! You should write a book! I’d definitely buy it! 🙂

I just bought a T-shirt! I have felt called to adopt from China for a year & a half now, but hubby not ready so I have focused my energy on families in need & orphans in Africa. Yet the pull to China is stronger than anything I have ever felt & goes HEART deep, that there will be a child there who needs us, waiting. A child who needs surgery…it just tears at my soul. I keep trying to let it go but the reminders are everywhere & pop up in the strangest circumstances. I will be praying day & night for this family…to God be the Glory…

LOL – Even Rosie “Got Down…” Your kiddos are adorable with some fine dance moves. A kid-fave song in our household too.

yay, I can post on your blog again. Left you a FB comment about what a blessing this blog post was to me this morning. Then I went to buy my shirt and realized this family lives very close to me and the dad was a former youth pastor of mine. What a small world and once again you are a blessing by connecting me to them and their story!!!! How amazing is our God!

I finally got around to ordering this awesome shirt today! Being a “China” momma, I am thrilled to have this shirt to wear! It’s also so fun to be able to help out another family in their adoption journey!
So glad to hear the Wiphan Cookbooks are coming available! I’ve so been wanting to purchase one and buy one for my sweetest friend!
Have a blessed day!

a weekend with family…

Just got back from a weekend with family at my brother-in-law’s parents beach house. (Thank you Helen and Phil for this treat! It was such a FUN weekend with family!) My grandparents, who live in Fairhope, came to join us for the day–and it was so fun to get to spend a day with them […]

Commented to my hubby this morning when I saw your pix on FB – “How can they be in shorts, bathing suits, and enjoying SUMMER in OCTOBER when we are freeeeeeezing.” =) Beautiful family photos – all of them! So happy you got a weekend away.

encouraged:)

Just wanted to say…I’m so encouraged by so many of the comments left on my last blog entry. It is so refreshing to hear that so many of you are in a similar place and have the same thoughts and feelings. Thank you for taking the time to share your hearts and encourage me. How […]

The first pet we “acquired” when we got married and lived in CO….was a llama. We had so much fun the first few minutes we had him. It was downhill from there. He actually had “bazerk male syndrome” (yea, a for real llam condition) and we had to put him down. Llama’s are a lot more fun in petting zoos! I think that precious one you are petting is actually an alpaca….which are a lot smaller and more gentle. They are precious and soft!
