I get updates from your sister when I run into her, but now that school is over, it has been less frequently. How amazing that your baby boy will be home in just a few weeks. I will pray that your adjustment is as smooth as can be and that God provides the needed patience and stamina as you love this little one. Caleb was 9 months when we got him and he is still very fearful of strangers. The adjustment was a bit difficult, but after almost 4 months, he is doing beautifully. It is so wonderful to hear that Isaac is gaining weight…and also that he is fussy. 🙂 Really, I think that is such a good sign. Many times the Ethiopian caregivers mislabel “emotionally shut-down” for “happy and content.” The fact that he is voicing his opinion is very healthy I think. I can’t wait to see pictures! Sorry for the ALL CAPS title…but I’m squealing and doing everything except wetting my pants! We are busily working on finding the best flight NOW:). As far as clothes go, I would bring a few different sizes or just a lot of clothes. 🙂 I know our girls’ clothes didn’t fit at all and I went by the measurements they gave us.
I am SO EXCITED for your family! It will be an amazing experience. Enjoy every minute!
Oh and I LOVE that picture! Those berries look so yummy!
