I am so excited for you!! It is four years ago TODAY (1st June) that we met our daughter Lydia Hope in Yunan when she was 14 months old at the time. It was such a wonderful experience!! Just two weeks ago we returned from Uganda after a three month stay whilst adopting two more children, Mercy and Elijah! I can honestly say that adopting from China was so much easier than Uganda, haha!! AND we had to wait five years for our little China princess!
I look forward to seeing pictures of Zeke!! I have been following ever since you went to ET and we started the process to adopt from Ug the same time you started your journey to China, AND we lost our baby son Jude at 18 weeks pregnant along the way too! Amazing how much you ministered to me as our paths and trials were so similar!!
Praying for you!!
Naomi
It is so much fun reading about your adventures. Looks like your kids are doing so well with the traveling. What a tremendously exciting time for your family. Looking forward to hearing about your first meeting of Zeke and seeing photos of you together! Blessings!
My family and I are so excited for you and we check your blog every day for updates! It is so close! Praying for your first meeting and sending lots of love and prayers to you all! We can’t wait to see the first pictures of Zeke!
Wow! Wow! Wow! From a distance the Great Wall looks like a long snake! Rest well for this next leg of the journey.
I’m so thankful you blog and am so excited to watch the celebration about to happen. The Lord bless you and your family in China these days!
What great adventures you’re having in these days before you get your sweet little one!
(Oh, I forgot to say on the last post that I’m praying you are able to connect again with your informal ‘guide’ you got – fun to see God’s used connections like that in the past and I’m sure He’ll continue to do so!)
Can’t believe how crazy crowded the Great Wall is – WOW! I just love that you’re doing things a mix of the local way and the non-traditional way! Taking the subways as much as you can, but then doing the lift on the way up and the fun ride on the way down 🙂
Glad you got time with your friend and can’t wait to continue to pray for you guys and travel vicariously thanks to your great travelogues on here!
